New Album!
Greetings from studio!
Ensiferum is recording their fifth full length album.Band started the work at famous Finnish Petrax-studio(COB,Nightwish) last week with producer Hiili Hiilesmaa(HIM,Sentenced) who is also mixing the album.
From Petrax-studio the band will move on for 2 other locations in Hämeenlinna-area.
New album is going to be released in fall 2012 and it will contain 10 tracks.
Few guests on the album are going to be members from Die Apokalyptischen Reiter and legendary Finnish singer and actor Vesa-Matti Loiri.

Terveiset studiosta!
Ensiferumin viidennen, vielä nimeämättömän, albumin äänitykset alkoivat viime viikolla. Alkuvaiheessa bändi työskentelee Petrax-studiolla, jossa äänityksistä vastaa Hiili Hiilesmaa. Hiilesmaa myös tuottaa ja miksaa levyn. Petraxilta bändi siirtyy Hämeenlinnan Sound Supreme ja Yellow House –studioille. Ensi syksynä julkaistava uusi albumi tulee sisältämään kymmenen biisiä, joista osaa alettiin työstää jo vuonna 2007.
Albumilla vierailee mm. saksalaisen Die Apokalyptischen Reiter-yhtyeen jäseniä sekä legendaarinen Vesa-Matti Loiri.
Äänitysten edistymistä ja bändin fiiliksiä voi seurata bändin kotisivuilta ladattavan ilmaisen Mobile Twilight Tavernin avulla sekä Spinefarmin youtube-kanavalta viikottain ilmestyvän studiopäiväkirjan muodossa. Ensimmäinen osa löytyy täältä:
